2019 Resolutions

As promised, an article about my new year resolutions!

  • Planning and cooking healthier meals more often. I really have never been a fan of cooking, but I am a huge fan of eating! This year I would like to dive in to the world of healthy living by eating a well rounded, plant based diet. I would slowly like to cut back on red meats, carbs, sugars, and fats. A big part of this goal is to learn more about my body and what I am putting into it.
  • Keeping up with my tan. This seems so stupid to many people but it’s one of those confidence boosting, “treat yo self” things. I’ve been struggling with the weight I have gained. I don’t feel comfortable in my own skin, but something about being tan makes things a little better. Right now I spray tan at H&Co in Monroe City. I love it! My tans are surprisingly natural looking, considering it is a machine that applies the spray.
  • Working my way into a more active lifestyle. I have decided daily workouts aren’t going to happen for me yet. If I slowly build up to an active life I will learn about my body and what it can handle. Eventually, working my way up to a daily routine and weight loss plan. Throughout this I hope to gain confidence while bettering my health and mind.

I have thought about this topic all month and am finally deciding to post. I have many goals for this year, but these few are what I’m working on right now. I hope you feel inspired!
