Postpartum Must Haves

For the past week I have used these items nearly every day! They’re worth the investment for new mommas. 😃 Below you’ll find links to everything.

Momcozy S9 Pro Wearable Breast Pump – I wasn’t sure how breast pumping was going to go or how long it would last, so I didn’t invest in the $500 Elvie wearable pump. If you plan on breast feeding, I stand by my opinion that you NEED a wearable pump. They’re so much better than the ones you plug into the wall. You have so much freedom & way less headache. I am extremely happy with the Momcozy. It’s quiet, easy to clean and has a long-lasting battery.

Momcozy Nursing Bra – I actually bought this before I bought the Momcozy pump. It has great reviews and was at a price I felt like wasn’t too expensive. Turns out, it’s the most comfortable bra I own (nursing and non.) The fabric is unbelievably soft. It’s very flattering and offers support for your sore breast in those early days when your milk comes in. Worth every penny.

Clif Crunchy Peanut Butter Bars – I have eaten these for years but recently they’ve been a lifesaver. They are very filling for a quick snack or breakfast. While up in the middle of the night I don’t want to make much noise making food, so I’ll grab a Clif Bar to get me through the midnight cravings.

Bodyarmor – While breastfeeding you have to make sure you stay hydrated. Bodyarmor is great for keeping you hydrated plus boosting your milk supply. I drank these with Oliver & now Caroline. When I started drinking just one a day, my milk supply came up approximately 50%. My favorite flavor is the Mamba Forever (strawberry grape) but I haven’t had one I didn’t like.

Munchkin Milkmakers Lactation Cookies – First and foremost, these are delicious. Another midnight snack I go for. What they do for you is in the name, lactation cookies. They boost your milk supply. These and the Bodyarmor are two ways I swear by to boost supply.

Amazon Paperwhite Kindle – This is another thing you’ll want for the middle of the night when you don’t want to turn on any lights to read a physical book. When I get up with Caroline in the night I am usually up for an hour or two, even though she falls back asleep pretty quickly. By time I get done feeding her & pumping, I am wide awake. This is when I will read my E-books and the Paperwhite Kindle is great for that. It is incredibly lightweight, perfect screen size & my Amazon Unlimited subscription gets me a ton of free books.

Medela Harmony Breast Pump – This is a manual breast pump that is great to have on hand when you’re charging or cleaning your Momcozy pump. It’s not something I use every day, but it is inexpensive enough to keep on hand when I need it. I do think the manual pump expresses milk faster than any other breast pump I’ve used. It’s a heck of a hand workout though!

I do not make commission on any of these links. I am simply doing this to help out the next mom that reads this. 🙂
