Okay, this holiday weekend did me in. Thursday I started to feel really sick. (see this blog I shared to know why.) I decided to take a little break because I had to get through the weekend healthy and feeling good. So, here I am Monday. I have not exercised. I am so exhausted, so all I am going to do this morning is dive back into my daily DiveThru.
Todays prompt – What can I do to alleviate the stress I’m experiencing?
My go to answer would be to get better in the areas I am very stressed in. Work on those things like communication, patience, cleanliness, and attitude. At work I need to work individually with my employees, side by side, to better understand how they communicate and work. This would alleviate the stress of miscommunications. It also might help them to see me as more of a person rather than the evil bitch I’m pretty sure they think I am. I should work on having more patience with them, after all, they are just kids. They don’t have the years of experience that I have. They haven’t had enough time to learn as much as I have. Cleanliness goes beyond work. I want a clean workplace but I also want to come home to a clean house. If I could do just a little bit everyday my house would stay so much cleaner. This would allow me to actually take days off, rather than cleaning my entire day. Attitude is a big one. We all choose our attitudes, we choose to be happy. I need to choose to be happy more often, especially at work. I love my job so I can’t let the place stress me out to the point of hating it.
